Opening of the Biodynamic Botanic Garden at Emerson College

Guest speakers include Nir Halfon (Old Plawhatch Farm), Allan Jenkins (Observer Food Monthly), Laura Stannard (president of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists), Dr Eleni Maloupa (agronomist) and Dr Nikos Krigas (botanist).
Guest of honour: Barbara Griggs (author of Green Pharmacy, former editor of Country Living)
Guided tours of the medicinal herb garden, the ornamental garden and the vegetable garden.
Biodynamic plant stall with herbs, vegetables and flowers from the garden
Café with vegan and gluten free options
Bookshop with new and second hand books.
FREE ENTRY – ALL WELCOME (parking £4 per car – no buses or dogs)
The Biodynamic Botanic Garden at Emerson College is a collaboration between the Emerson College Trust and the NIMH Education Fund with support from the Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) and ArbNet.
The purpose of the garden is to unite botany and herbal medicine with biodynamic practice and anthroposophical principles. To create a peaceful, inspirational forum for learning and conservation, for health and wellbeing for all living beings
