Would you like to heat your home with renewable energy?
If you have ever thought about heating your home with renewable energy, there has never been a
better time to make this happen. There is currently a government grant and subsidy available for everyone and a local support programme available if you currently heat your home with oil.
If you live within 15 miles of Forest Row and heat your home with oil, Forest Row Energy has a few spaces still available to help you navigate the complexities
of installing renewable heating. You could get a free home assessment, technical and financial analysis that will show you your best options and the savings you could make.
Forest Row Energy will help households that are
part of their programme to access the Green Homes Grant and Renewable Heat Incentive subsidy from the government to help pay for installing technologies such as heat pumps. They are also developing a not-for profit funding initiative to further reduce your installation costs.
Installing low carbon heating offers great cost savings and is a must if we are going to meet our national carbon reduction targets. The support through Forest Row Energy will make installing renewable heat for your home as easy and cost effective as possible. All the support is free of charge and is offered on a no obligation basis.
Forest Row Energy Co-op is a not-for-profit community energy group that is run by local industry experts. Their mission is to make energy cost less – to us and the environment. They have been awarded with a grant from the Rural Community Energy Fund to help rural households get rid of their oil heating and go renewable by installing heat pumps.

FOREST ROW REPAIR CAFE
We are VERY excited to announce that the Repair Cafe Forest Row has REOPENED! The first one since lockdown took place on Saturday 19th September, from 10-1pm and was a great success. The next one is being held on the 17th October.
Be prepared that when you visit things will be a little different to what you are used to, but we are back which is the most important thing. We have missed not being in the village and mending your broken items, so we look forward to seeing you again.
There will be posts to explain how the new system will work and which volunteer repairers will be there so please do look out for them on our facebook page Repair Cafe Forest Row or on forestrow.gov.uk.
