THE SHOW: Precious Earth will showcase a collection of highly detailed, contemporary Wildlife paintings, aimed at highlighting the great awe and beauty of our native British wildlife. Original artwork, prints and cards are available to purchase and a proportion of sales will be donated to wildlife conservation charities.  Emma believes that human beings are losing a sense of connection with the natural world that sustains us, at a great cost to both the health and wellbeing of our selves as well as to the planet. The rates of species decline, particularly that of butterflies and bees over the past decade, has compelled Emma to create art that may inspire a re-engagement with nature, and appreciation of the immense beauty that is so easily overlooked.

THE ARTIST: After graduating IN 2003 with a First-Class Honours from Northumbria University in Visual Communication, Emma was fortunate enough to exhibit in the Mall galleries as part of a group show, and proceeded to work as a Children’s book illustrator. She now focusses on painting realistic animals that portray their beauty, sentience and innocence and uses her work to promote wildlife conservation. In addition to wildlife commissions, Emma undertakes numerous Pet Portraits to clients worldwide.
